Thank you for the update, but I have no idea why the IDE restart was required before this started working. VA Snippet shortcuts should work as soon as you have accepted the VA Snippet editor dialog, and a restart is never normally required.
If something like this should come up again, can you please look and see if you have more than one instance of the IDE, of "devenv.exe" running? This should not matter, but I am wondering if somehow one process had a lock on the snippet files, and this was a factor. It's a rather random guess, but I am not sure what else might have happened here. |
