Visual Studio 15.5.2 unusable with Visual Assist

Almost all operations seem to crash visual studio 15.5.2 when visual assist is enabled, from clicking/selecting text, building, etc. The only way I can keep using it is to disable visual assist.

Do you have Code Inspection enabled? If so, disable it.
Alternatively, you can install build 2247 which has a fix for the Code Inspection crash:
https://www.wholetomato.com/binaries/VA_X_Setup2247_0.exe
No release notes or list of fixes yet. This is nearly final.

Thanks for the update. The 15.5 crashes were just the cherry on top of a horrible fall with the Win10 Fall Creators Update fiasco.

case=112698 was opened for the Code Inspection crash that started with the 15.5 update.
case=112698 is fixed in build 2248.
