Steps: * open snipper editor * Type some unicode text, eg. some japanese string or whatever * Close * Open... only garbage is displayed.
If I try to insert the snippet inside a C++ UTF-8 code (comment), I also get garbage. FYI, utf-8 comments ae possible in VS2015.
I guess VA does not store the data in unicode :(

Unfortunately no, we don't yet have full unicode support in VA. We are aware of the need for the Snippet editor to support unicode, but I don't yet have an estimate for when this will be done:
