In VS2013 I can't open window 'Open file in solution' by pressing keyboard short-cut when no document is open. In VS2005 it works without any problems.
Can you please open the keyboard assignment screen? Tools -> Options... -> Environment -> Keyboard
Here, please type vassistx.openfile as you can see on the following screenshot:
You should see Alt+Shift+O (Text Editor) which is causing the trouble. Now, select "Global" in the combobox as seen on the screenshot, and press the shortcut in the next editbox and press Assign and then OK. It should work now.
