I had the same issue where the outline only updated after clicking the file. It turned out the Auto update option in the VA Outline context menu was disabled, so enabling it fixes the behavior. |

sorry and forget it! I found a Auto-update switch in context-menu of VA outline. is tricky and i don't know when and how I turn if off by accident for some reason, it's not very obivious anyway. |
