hi
i just downloaded VA_X_Setup1940.exe and tried to install it. it seems that the installation is reported to be complete prematurely. the Installation Complete dialog appears before any installation get done. i tried removing the Visual Assist X folder and registry entries and restarting Windows before installation. but it doesn't work. i tried to find a log of what happened. but i couldn't succeed.
what's the problem and how can i resolve it?

Do you have a valid TEMP folder? If you go to a command prompt and type this:
cd /d %temp%
Are you taken to a valid directory or do you get an error indicating "The system cannot find the path specified." ? |

Which OS are you using?
Which IDE's do you have installed?
Did you run the installer as an administrator user? This is required for installing into VS2008 and earlier. |
