hi
i just downloaded VA_X_Setup1940.exe and tried to install it. it seems that the installation is reported to be complete prematurely. the Installation Complete dialog appears before any installation get done. i tried removing the Visual Assist X folder and registry entries and restarting Windows before installation. but it doesn't work. i tried to find a log of what happened. but i couldn't succeed.
what's the problem and how can i resolve it?

Which OS are you using?
Which IDE's do you have installed?

Did you run the installer as an administrator user? This is required for installing into VS2008 and earlier.

Do you have a valid TEMP folder? If you go to a command prompt and type this:
cd /d %temp%

Are you taken to a valid directory or do you get an error indicating "The system cannot find the path specified." ?
