1. Open the Settings dialog of VAX
2. Select Projects -> C/C++ Directories
3. Choose "Custom"
4. Select the listbox with the path entries
5. Press F2 you can change the first entry
6. Press enter
7. Select the next entry with the cursor key down
8. Press F2

Result: The first entry is selected again.

Always the last entry you changed is again opened for editing when pressing F2.

I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description.

As I am sure you have already found, double clicking on the item you want to edit with the mouse is the work around here.
