VS 2008 SP1 (+hotfix), VAX 1649, XP SP3.

Perhaps an old issue, but here we go:

I press <ctrl>+<space> to show the auto completion list. Then I hover one of the items with the mouse cursor. Now the caption bar flickers like a mad cow!

This behavior also effectively inactivates any key strokes inside this list.

I don't see anything like this. Can you please try our newest builds just to see if this helps?

I did the following:
1. Placed the caret where ctrl+space makes sense
2. Pressed ctrl+space
3. Did not see any unusual

Am I doing the right test?
I tried this in the center of a function name and after this-> in a member function, but nothing flickered.
