I would like ot suggest the following for the rename feature.
When the VA dialog for rename is displayed it lists all of the locations found that use the object being renamed, however there is no way to determine the location or context of these changes. I suggest adding either a tooltip to display say 5 lines prior to and after the usage, or a source window at the bottom of the dialog that would show the current line selected.
I believe this is in the coming build 1531. When you hover over items in the Find References or Rename dialog it shows a few lines of code around the found entry. Along with the file and line number
