Today, I updated Visual Assist to the latest release, 2026.1. Now, my code is red and blue, even though I did not select either color for syntax highlighting.
If I disable the VA syntax highlighting, the code looks fine again with the default Visual Studio highlighting.

Can you please export your VA and IDE settings and send them to me:
VA Options -> Advanced -> Logging and Recovery -> Export Settings IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings
I can then import them here and see if I can reproduce the problem.
Please send me the files via email:
[email protected]
including this thread ID or URL in the description, so we can match it up.
Did this used to work correctly with this colour scheme with the previous version of VA?

I'm using Visual Studio 2026, version 18.2.0, which was released on January 13. Everything was working fine until I updated Visual Assist this morning.

Can you please send me your settings? I don't want to try reading the colour values from an image, and then configuring the custom colours, foreground and background, that way, to try and set up a test case here.
Are you using one of the built in IDE themes or a custom theme? Or did you just edit your colours to get this result? |
