I'm using VA_X.dll file version 10.9.2520.0 built 2024.05.02, inside of Visual Studio 2008, and when I move over the [ ] Enable logging checkbox, and then go down to the one below it, it changes from this (the cyan line looks normal, highlighted here to stand out):
Into this (yellow portion overwrites):
The [ ] Enable Auto Recovery part shows up over the top of the cyan line. If you mouse over the remainder of the cyan line someplace, in an area that's not highlighted in yellow, then that text goes away and it comes back to the normal display.

This caught my eye after posting the above. I'm finally up to the 80386 CPU! :-)
Hopefully it's an AMD Am386 running at 40 MHz. Fully static, so it can clock from 0 MHz to 40 MHz without issue. :-)

And after that I graduated to the 80387 FPU, our old IEEE-754 friend with the peculiar stack and its support for 80-bit floating point values, despite our modern programming languages only mostly supporting 32-bit and 64-bit. "Alas, poor Yorick ... I knew him well, Horatio."
Sorry, I just couldn't resist on this Sunday when I should be on my own time and not busy coding.

That is a little unexpected:

No sign of the problem in VS2010 or later, so only on VS2008 and earlier it seems.
Still, it is good to see you achieving such a venerable CPU. The future awaits  |
