os: windows 10
visual assist latest version and visual studio 2022

Here's the steps i did:
1. disabled visual studio intellisense to true
2. enable code inspection (beta)
3. restart
4. disabled/enabled visual assist several times

one thing is that c/c++ directory is set to custom and system header files but the listbox is somehow empty. is this the reason visual assist isnt working?

i'm stuck on it like hours now. pls help me fix it.

Apologies for the slow reply.

Can you explain what is going wrong? Code Inspection does not produce listboxes, but it does show a list of code fixes, in the "VA Code Inspection Results" window, which can be shown via the menu command:

VAssistX -> Code Inspection (beta) -> VA Code Inspection Results

As a simple test to see if Code Inspection is picking anything up, can you try adding the following test function to a cpp file:

// three picked up here, shown by pale text, no underline
static void testRedundantChecks(void)
	for(int nScan = 1; nScan < 10; ++nScan)

this should generate 3 results from Code Inspection, if it is working normally, and doesn't rely on understanding your header files.
