Every visual assist button including va option button turned gray after I purchase and register it. I have tried uninstall, distable and reinstall, all visual assist button still gray.

I deleted all VAX folder and registration, still no effect on VS2019.

If the registration failed, you should let me click option button or let me click help, but you don't let me use and you don't let me register.

And I cannot open VS2010 until I go to safe mode to uninstall VAX.

Apologies for this problem, it should not be working like this.

Have you installed VA on any other machines?

Is the email you registered with the forum with the same email you have registered VA with?

Is your machine, where you are having problems, connected to the internet?

I just purchased the license, and I enter the license immediately after I received the mail. My registration mail is the same with my forum account. But when I submit the serial no, the dialog hung for many minutes...
So I have to kill the devenv.exe. After that, the VAX turns all gray for every version of VS on my machine. I tried reinstall, renable, delete appdata,delete registry, but doesn't work, all VAX features gray forever.

I work in China, but I can connect internet through a proxy to HongKong. If you think it is a network problem, you can give me a domain name or url to make a net test.

Probably a proxy issue, although it's interesting that you did not receive an error message. Some proxies can cause registration to fail. Please try 'web registration' as described in the 'Register with a serial number, without internet access' section here.

Register with a serial number, without internet access, that need me to click VAX option button to open the trial dialog, but I can not click no button from my installed VAX.

Does a trial dialog appear if you restart Visual Studio? If so, you can click Register and be taken the register dialog.

No, the VAX option buttons is valid at beginning, but if you are fast enough to click the buttons, nothing happens...And when the VS2019 is completely ready, the VAX buttons turn gray at once.
No trial dialog appears...

That sounds like a bug. The trial dialog should appear when you restart Visual Studio. Do you get the "Visual Assist is loaded but dormant." message when you restart Visual Studio?

warning: Only do the following if you are comfortable using regedit. If you are not, we will try something else.

Could you please try shutting down Visual Studio and deleting the following registry entry?
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Whole Tomato

After deleting the key, start Visual Studio. Do you see a trial dialog now?

None of delete registry or delete <user>\AppData\Roaming\Embarcadero works.
If I fall down to a 2018 version which do not support VS2019, the old style trial dialog appears on VS2017, but I cannot get a old style key.
Then I upgrade to build 2333, VAX restores to the all gray state.
If it is a bug, pls fix it as soon as possible.

Please contact [email protected] to continue this case. I would like to try using a trial extension key to get VA responsive again.
