Using visual studio 2013 community with update 4. When attempting to autocomplete a smart suggestion (with tab or enter, with or without arrowing down to a selection), it simply closes the window and doesn't add the code. I've turned off intellisense and reinstalled VA, but no dice.

any ideas how to fix this, or at least what could be causing the problem?

Are you using any other Visual Studio extensions? Something like ViEmu, etc.

If no other extensions, can you please export your Visual Studio and Visual Assist settings and send them to me?

1. IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings
2. VA Options -> Performance -> Export Settings

So I can import them here to see if I can reproduce the problem. Please use the following form to send the files in:

User used a split screen and the problem only happened on the right part. He wasn't bothered by this anymore so he is considered this as solved.

Are you using a split screen?
Are you using any form of Vim emulation?
If you go to VA options -> Enhanced Listboxes, is Tab and Enter ticked?
