Say you have a simple VA Snippet that you want to use several times and you want to use it with the some of the same User input values over and over.
A specific use case, is a Snippet "MOTIGA TJL" which is used to surround code with some description via a $desc$ variable.
It's nice that in such a value's field (VA Snippet window):
that there is a "Right click for more options." --> "Paste Recent Clipboard..." feature. Given that context here are some suggestions:
#1)
Ctrl + Shift + V should bring up that same menu.
#2)
That menu isn't enough, because it tends to get filled up with unrelated values copied for various reasons. It's great, but in addition to that, please consider adding another menu such as "Paste Recent Value" which would similarly be a short list of recent text, but where that list would only contain text that was recently used as input for that user variable.
With such a feature, one could use that example snippet to surround several blocks of code with the same description easily, and while in-between doing so, one could copy/paste various other things (which would change up the "Paste Recent Value" content but not the "Paste Recent Value" content), yipee!
#3)
Consider extending upon #2, such as allowing all user variables of the same name across all snippets to share the same "Paste Recent Value" list. Or even adding a third menu and list for all "Recent User Input" across all user variables.
#4)
Lastly, please be sure to add keyboard shortcut support for the above suggestions; I for one, would probably prefer Ctrl + Shift + V to pull up my suggested "Paste Recent Value" menu instead of my suggestion to have that key combo pull up the existing "Paste Recent Clipboard" menu. Thus hopefully such keyboard shortcuts would be user-editable options ;)
