I am currently using Visual Studio 2013 with VAX 10.8.2043.
The option to sort lines is only available in .h or .cpp files, the command is ghosted when in .py, .pl, .xml, and extensionless files. This worked correctly in VS2008 with an older version of VAX (sorry I do not remember the version number).
Is there some setting I am missing or is this a bug?
By default on a new install, VA is only active in C/C++ and C# files, which sounds like what is happening here. You can change this setting, which is explained here:
