Hi,
I switched to VS2012 Update2 (W7 x64, VAX 1940) and when I use F3 to highlight find results I observe two things:
  • Some results are not highlighted at all

  • When VS finds the result, VAX highlightes all results (at the current page) with ~200ms delay. It distracts my attention for a moment, I didn't observe such behavior in old VS2008.

Thanks for the screen capture.

The first item is a regression: case=74938

The second item is the result of a change made to support the highlights in very large files without impacting scroll and typing performance. We will review.

case=74938 is fixed in build 1946
