Hello,

I'm using VA X 10.7.1929.0 built 2013.02.22 with VS 2010 SP1 together with the Theme extension. I'm using a black/dark theme for VS and the editor text. The problem is that the drop downs from VA X have a light background with light text. Can you tell me which color from the VS theme is VA X using?

I have attached a comparison between VS (left) and VA X drop-downs (right) :

Are you talking about the "Visual Studio Color Theme Editor"? (ThemeManagerPackage.vsix)

Which theme are you using exactly? I didn't find dark theme:


I applied them one-by-one but non of them dark at all.
Are you using custom colors, or a different extension?

Yes, I'm using that editor and a downloaded modified theme (Elite Dark).
I found the elements by trial and error.

ComboBoxBackground / ComboBoxGradientBegin /ComboBoxGradientEnd

and for text

CommandBarTextActive - be careful, this is the same color used for the upper menu items

Thank you for the follow-up. I have never used this extension, but sounds like it's quite capable.
