I've added .cshtml into the keys as described by, and rebuilt the DB
http://docs.wholetomato.com?W353

But when I surround code and hit / it simply replaces the selection with /. in .aspx files it surrounds it with <!-- or /* */ based on if its in a script or a HTML section..

Is there anyway to get the comment surround to function in .cshtml files as well?

Which language / extension key did you add .cshtml to?

Which IDE and version of VA are you using?

Is VA active, and applying syntax highlighting in your .cshtml files?

ExtAsp

VS2012 / 10.7.1925.0

Unsure how to tell the difference between VA's highlighting and VS's syntax highlighting.

Apologies for the colouring question, it turns out it was not a very good thing to check. Are you seeing any sign of the VA context and navigation fields? These are normally at the top of the editor window. I am not seeing them here, testing VS2012 with VA 1929.

The IDE knows about this file extension, although its not one I recognise myself. I am not sure why VA is not active after adding this extension to the registry, I have put in a bug report for this:

case=72670
