Hi there,
Let me say first that Visual AssistX is fantastic!
I'm only encountering one minor problem: about one out of ten times, a double click in the source code window is not registered. The cursor will be placed in the word but the word is not selected (as if I single clicked). I can't reproduce the problem, it just happens occasionally.
My project is 517 files. Using VS2010. The problem goes away if I turn VAX off.
Not a big deal, but is this a known issue?
Thanks Joost |

This is odd. I have never saw or heard anything like this. Which Visual Assist version are you using? What double-click speed you have set up? Is it the default? (Type "mouse" in the start menu, press enter, and you will find it on the "Buttons" tab.) |

I'm running 10.7.1925.0. The slider in Windows Mouse Properties is set slightly above 50%, seems to be about 1/3rd of a second.
Not a big deal as I said, I'll let you know if I somehow manage to reproduce the problem consistently. |

Do you move keyboard focus out of the editor often? Perhaps into Solution Explorer or Find References Results? I was wondering if this might explain the effect, since the first click would then be moving focus back into the editor, rather than giving you an actual double click in the editor.
Since this only happens with VA this seems a bit unlikely, but worth asking just in case. |
