 VC6 + VAX1916 crash		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

VC6 with VAX crashes when opening a moderately sized VC++ workspace (approximately 100KLOC).
All other installed AddIns have been deactivated (Project line counter 2.21, WndTabs 3.20, both from http://www.wndtabs.com/).

I can only reproduce it with this particular project. Most of the time (but every time when in WinDbg) the IDE crashes immediately after opening the project. Outside of WinDbg it crashes when clicking the menu item Tools/Customize after loading said project.
Using "Clear cache, history and temp files" and "Rebuild symbol database" didn't help.

I uploaded a crash dump and logs (case=69687).

I was hinted at deleting the project's ncb file and this eliminated the crash.
(So it seems to be a problem in VC++ and not Visual Assist.)
