Have you ever considered offering some kind of scripting support in VA Snippets? The project I'm currently working on has some very strict and specific coding/documentation guidelines which can't be supported with the available macros in the VASnippets. Some scripting language support in the snippets would give us total freedom to generate output just the way we need it.

Unfortunately, this is not something that we're planning to do anytime soon. However, IDE macros may be the solution for you:

You are probably already aware, but on the off chance it helps, you can edit Document Method's snippet. It's called "Refactor Document Method". More on VA snippets:
