The project I'm currently working on has some very strict and specific coding/documentation guidelines which can't be supported with the available macros in the VASnippets. Some scripting language support in the snippets would give us total freedom to generate output just the way we need it.

However, IDE macros may be the solution for you: http://www.wholetomato.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=35 You are probably already aware, but on the off chance it helps, you can edit Document Method's snippet.
