Hi Folks,

I installed VA on my newly installed Visual Studio 2012 RC, but unfortunately it is only allowing me a 3 day trial, is this a typo?

Is it because I have an older version in my VS2010 install? I was thinking about renewing the maintenance for VS2012, but I thought I'd have perhaps 30 days to decide?

Thanks
Ash

If you already have VA installed then you only get a 3 day trial, this is to stop people just using one trial after another, and never purchasing a key.

If you use this form:

http://www.wholetomato.com/support/contact.asp

and select "Sales inquiry / Price quote / Extension of a Trial" you can ask for a 30 day trial key, to give you a better chance to get a feel for Visual Assist X in VS2012. Hopefully you will find that Visual Assist X works well for you in VS2012, and is a valuable addition to your coding experience.

Thanks feline, I'm sure I'll love it (I can't do without it for VS 2010), I just didn't know if it was worth buying yet or struggling on for a couple of months until it's fully supported. From what I have seen so far (only a couple of hours) it seems to be great already :)

Thanks
Ash

Current support for VS2012 should be fairly good, fairly complete, and I would be interested to hear about any bugs or omissions you encounter.

The only note of caution is that it may take us a few days to support any further beta builds, and the final release version of VS2012, after they are released, since the IDE changes, so VA has to chance also, to keep on working.
