feline	Posted - Oct 09 2017 : 5:10:26 PM Assuming this machine is on the internet, can you try installing VA from the online gallery: IDE tools menu -> Extensions and Updates... and see if this makes any difference?
dakotahawkins	Posted - Oct 09 2017 : 11:11:51 AM VS2017 enterprise, everything is up to date. Installer worked successfully on 2013 and 2015, so I think it's fine. Probably the stupid 2017 private registry hive corrupted itself again :(
feline	Posted - Oct 09 2017 : 11:10:09 AM I don't think I have ever seen this error before when installing. How did you try to install VA? Which edition of VS2017 are you using? My first theory is a corrupt download of the installer, but this is just a guess. Can you please try re-downloading the installer and trying again, to see if this makes any difference.
