I use a mix of VAX and R# , some tools in VAX I simly prefer.

I recall some years back that VAX "turns off" some features when R# is installed.

Is there a list of what is disabled ,

I am concerned really at having 2 IDE Enhancers battling it out from a performamce view point

Visual Assist is a very lightweight product. It should not affect your performance noticeable. Are you seeing any problems with the performance which stops happening when you disable VA temporarily?

VA Options -> Enable/Disable Visual Assist X

We just disable some features that would conflict with resharper, like not to insert closing parens since Resharper also does that so you would end up with ()). But these have nothing to do with the performance.
