When programming in C++/CLI, I noticed that VA.X incorrectly determines the class name of "abstract" or "sealed" classes:

public ref class Arc sealed : public Shape
    void test();

When clicking on "test()" and selecting "Create Implementation", VA.X generates:

void sealed::test()

Well that's good news

If you run into a similar problem with another keyword the same workaround should fix it.

Sorry, no problem with abstract either. Thanks a lot for the workaround!

I am seeing the same effect here with "sealed" classes. Thank you for the clear description.

However I cannot reproduce any problems with "abstract" classes. Does this only happen under some specific conditions?

As a temporary work around edit VA's "StdAfx.h" file as explained in this FAQ entry:

and add the entry:

#define sealed

at the bottom. This file is used to help VA's parser with difficult code, and can be used to work around odd effects. After modifying this file you need to rebuild the VA symbol database for the changes to take effect:

VA Options -> Performance -> General -> Rebuild symbol databases

I have tested this with your example and the it works for me in VS2005 with VA 1559.
