Posted - Feb 13 2010 : 10:16:10 AM It would be nice, if we could have something like tab stops instead of prompts, meaning hitting tab will cycle through the snippet parameters that the user needs to set IN the code window. This has multiple advantages:
1.) WYSIWYG. you're seeing the result while typing 2.) Possibly code-completion for the prompted parameters
Eclipse and Komodo IDE both do it that way. Here is the doc for tab stops in Komodo: http://docs.activestate.com/komodo/4.4/tabstops.html#tabstops_top
Cheers.
