The old Find References control used to mark in bold references where the searched field is being modified. The new Find References control does not show that distinction. This was a very useful feature for me. Please implement that in the new control.

I can use the context menu or keyboard shortcuts to filter down to only write references or read references, but IMO that is not a good replacement for easily distinguishing the two at a glance.

Do you have:

VA Options -> Highlighting -> Highlight write references using ...

turned On, with a different colour set for write and read references?

Is this highlighting being applied to the editor window correctly?

I am not seeing the problem, but I have never had VA set to simply apply bold to modified results. I have different colours set for read and write references.

The two images below show VA 2537 and VA 2547, and as you can see, they both mark read and write references quite clearly, and in the same way.

So I am wondering how you have configured your Find References Results highlighting.
