Hi,
I updated VA recently and in the Open File in Solution window, the behavior for using a dot at the start of a filter to find all files that start with that filter string is not working. It'd only find files that have that dot somewhere in the file name.
Using the dot at the end of the filter still works as expected though. |

Apologies for this, definitely a regression. It works correctly for me in VA 2491, but this is the last build where it works correctly. I have put in a high priority bug report for this, since regressions are clearly bad:

As a work around, if you are trying to use dot for the start of a file name, you could use \ instead, to mark that the file name or directory starts at this point. |
