We have a license for Visual Assist for Visual Studio 2015 . Can we use the same license for Visual Studio 2017 ? or we need to purchase a new license for 2017 ?

Unfortunately not, VA build 2094 was related 2016.03.25, which was well before VS2017 was released, so this version of VA does not have any knowledge of or support for VS2017 or newer.
If you want to use VA in this IDE you will need to renew your license. |

The single license covers all versions of Visual Studio on the single machine you are using, so you can work in VS2015, VS2017, VS2019 and even VS2008 all at once if you want to  |
