Hi there, I'm having a lot of issue with the current version of Visual Assist.
One of them is the VAssistX Option UI that makes Visual Studio crash.
To reproduce : just openning the VASSISTX->Option menu.
In the best case I obtain this:

then a crash.
In the worst case, the crash is direct.
My infos:
VA_X.dll file version 10.9.2248.0 built 2017.12.16

Windows 10 10.0 Build 16299

It looks like you have the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update but have not applied the December updates which fix problems like the one you are experiencing. Please check Windows Update. |

Ok the forum seems to not accept the screenshot.
On the screenshot, the UI is completely blank: no side column and no left menu.
