Recently I begin to use VisualGDB to develop Linux programs, and find a problem. After I Disable Visual Assist(from VASSISTX menu), the next start of Visual Studio IDE will automatically re-enable VAX. Of course, this behavior is not desired.
VisualGDB has his own Intellisense engine to visualize Linux system headers and this cannot be done by VAX. So I sometimes need to disable VAX.
I've tried latest VA_X_Setup2248_0.exe with VS2008 and VS2013, same problem.
Can this problem be fixed in future version? |

Are you having problems telling VA where to look for your include directories when working in a Visual GDB project? If so, this was recently discussed in this thread, and the answers there may help you:

Do you experience problems when you are trying to use Visual Assist and VisualGDB together? So when both is active? If yes, what problems do you see?
In Visual Studio 2013, you can use Extension Manager to disable Visual Assist in a way that sticks throughout restarts, and until you re-enable it.
