Posted - Dec 15 2017 : 03:33:33 AM I'm re-evaluating VA now to buy it for VS 2017. I own an older version that I used in VS 2015. the old one was doing fine with the VA Outline window all the time. Now when I type in the code window, the VA Outline constantly updates and flashes the scrollbars which really makes things slow. It's so annoying that I'm closing outline when I dont need it, but that's also not good bc I am used to use it as my main GoTo tool.
Is there any setting I can change or is there an intention to improve this behavior?

Posted - Dec 18 2017 : 06:29:12 AM Thank you for the update, and the time sorting all of this out took. If you see any other odd problems involving VA, please do let me know, and I will do everything I can to help. |

Posted - Dec 16 2017 : 8:41:04 PM Sorry I already uninstalled VS2017 and went back to 2015. The additional hassle is not worth using the new version, I concluded. There's nothing new in VS 2017 for the average C++ programmer after all. Still thanks for the answer

Posted - Dec 15 2017 : 05:08:45 AM This is not supposed to happen, no. Can you please go to:
VA Options -> System Info -> Copy Info
and paste the details (from the clipboard) into your reply. This will give us the basic information about your setup.
If you are running an older version of VA, the first thing I would suggest would be upgrading to the latest version, and see if this helps:
