I have searched for a solution, but couldnt find satisfactory answer.

The font in VA Outline and Navigation Bars are too small, much smaller then in any other sidebar window. I tried changing font entries under Tool -> Options -> Environment -> Fonts and Colors, but couldnt find anything that changes fonts for these windows.

Font size makes them hard to read, is there any way of changing it?

I'm using Visual Studio 2015 under Window 10. Display size is 15" with resolution 2880 x 1800 (MacBook Pro), and windows font scaling is set to 200%.

No problems with the slow reply, I realise you have other things that need to be looked at and done.

I am testing with the same build of VA, and the same version of VS2015, so that should not be the difference.

Can you please export your VA and IDE settings and send them to me:

VA Options -> Performance -> Export Settings
IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings

I can then import them here and see if I can reproduce the problem. I am guessing that you have different fonts set in the IDE options, and that somehow this is a factor. If so, the settings may show the effect.

Please submit the files via the form:

including this thread ID or URL in the description, so we can match it up.

Sorry for the late reply. I believe I was also using VA 2102, here are the version numbers from the VA system info:

VA_X.dll file version 10.9.2102.0 built 2016.06.02
DevEnv.exe version 14.0.25123.0 Enterprise
msenv.dll version 14.0.25123.0
Comctl32.dll version 6.10.10586.0
Windows 10 10.0 Build 10586

Which version of VA are you using? After some experimenting, I have managed to get a Windows 10 system to a high enough resolution to set:

Windows Display -> Change the size of text, apps and other items: 200%

which I assume is the same setting you are using.

With VA 2102, and without changing any of the IDE font settings, this is what I am seeing. The font size in both solution explorer and VA Outline are the same basic size:

your screen shots show the problem you are seeing, so I am wondering what the key difference is, and why I am not seeing this here.

Yep, the font in VA outline changed after restart.

It is still smaller than the one in Solution Explorer though. Now I ended up with oversized font in Menus & Solution Explorer, and a normal font in VA outline ... but at least it's something I can live with. Hope this gets fixed in future versions.

Thank you.

Can you please try restarting VS2015 with the new environment font still set, and see if this makes any difference? I need to restart the IDE before the VA Outline body uses the new font. The VA Outline title is changed immediately for me, as shown in your second screen shot.

Ok, here are the screenshots (100kb image limit is too low!). The second one is with the changed environment font - as you can see it doesnt change the font in VA Outline.

Can you please take a screenshot of what you see? I increased the DPI to 175% (the maximum that Windows has allowed on that machine) and the font sizes of VA nav bar and VA Outline are the same as in other windows.

Did you try to change Environment Font? You need to change the setting from automatic in order to change the font but the font "automatic" setting uses is "Segoe UI" so you can set that.
