VA_X.dll file version 10.9.2094.0 built 2016.03.25
DevEnv.exe version 14.0.25123.0 Professional
msenv.dll version 14.0.25123.0
Comctl32.dll version 6.10.10586.0
Windows 10 10.0 Build 10586

The spell check highlighting disappears in the first line visible in the C++ editor. The text line shown in the screenshots is not the first line in the file.

That is strange. How are you scrolling the file? If the top line of code was half off the top of the screen then that might explain this, but the line seems to be fully showing in your screen shot.

I cannot reproduce this here.

Can you please export your VA and IDE settings and send them to me:

VA Options -> Performance -> Export Settings
IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings

I can then import them here and see if I can reproduce the problem. Your IDE font setting's might be a factor.

Please submit the files via the form:

http://www.wholetomato.com/support/contact.asp

including this thread ID or URL in the description, so we can match it up.
