My development environment is VS2010. Originally, it can become gray in inactive code area. But when I install VAssistX, the

inactive code become not gray. How Can I solve this problem?it can be seen in following attachment. In this Code, I don't

define _XIAOJIANG macro,So the Code should become gray.

Can you try rebooting, and then just load one copy of the IDE, and check the IDE setting? I am wondering if working with more than one copy of the IDE open at the same time could be a factor.

Thank you.I found that VA should not affect this. But I guess it is the problem of visual studio. I also Check " Show Inactive Blocks" to be true
and "Disable Inactive Code Opacity" to be false. But I also found that the inactive code become not gray. When I reset all settings in "Import and Export Wizard",it can become gray. But When I Close VS Project,it become not gray again. I also discover that VS will save "CurrentSettings.vssettings" file after Closing VS Project.I think that it will add the extra setting in the process of saving file. Can anybody tell me what is the extra setting?Thans a lot.

VA should not effect this, but we do scan inside, and are active inside inactive code blocks. Can you please check the IDE options:

IDE tools menu -> Options -> Text Editor -> C/C++ -> Formatting -> Show Inactive Blocks
IDE tools menu -> Options -> Text Editor -> C/C++ -> Formatting -> Disable Inactive Code Opacity

perhaps these settings have been changed somehow.
