A good bug report is time consuming - is there any advantage when providing a good bug report? Like longer support for an existing license? If not I will not provide any bug reports ;)

If you report a bug then we can try to fix it. If no one else reports the bug you are seeing then we may never learn of it.

Bug reports that don't contain enough information to let us reproduce the problem just result in questions while I try to find out what problem you are seeing, so one can argue that a good bug report actually takes less time and effort in the long run.

Some bugs can be worked around with a bit of care, and when possible we will suggest work arounds, so even if we don't fix the bug immediately it might stop bothering you.

Ultimately the support department is here to try and make your life easier
