After having worked in Eclipse some time, I now miss an "Extract variable" command in Visual Assist's "Refactor" menu. Given that "Extract method" is a fair bit more complicated, it should be possible to implement this feature easily. What do you think? |

You mean Extract local variable? We are considering doing this at some point:
