//-------------------------Macro--------------------------------------------//
#define OPENOBJ_BEGIN(Ent, OpenMode, ClassName, VariableName) {\    XDbObject tObj(Ent, OpenMode); \ClassName *VariableName=!tObj? NULL: ClassName::cast(tObj.m_pObject);

#define OPENOBJ_END()  }

And I have sent the cpp file to http://www.wholetomato.com/support/contact.asp .

I am seeing the same effect here. Thank you for the clear description and the test code you have sent in.

case=23538

Anyway, VA is able to parse the macro: the problem is limited only to highlighting, e.g. definition field is showing the correct info.
