If I start up the VS 2010 IDE stating a solution to load with it, I have to close the "Tip of the Day" before it complete the load of the solution. Why isn't the TotD loaded on a separate thread to stop this from happening?
This is a known problem, but its proving tricky to fix, due to the fact we have to work around the IDE, and cannot always just do what we want regardless. We are keeping an eye on this, in the hope of finding a good solution:
