There is a known bug in the logic for accepting listboxes that means the existing known symbol will be overwritten if you are accepting / inserting a function name, which you are here:
case=140801
However, the registry key setting stops the overwrite in all of my tests, so I am not sure why it is not working here.
Which IDE and version of VA are you using?
Can you close all instances of the IDE and then double check the setting in the registry? VA writes out its settings to the registry on IDE exit, so it is possible that if an IDE process closed after you made the registry change that the registry change you made has been overwritten, which would explain why it isn't taking effect. |
