For whatever reason, VA doesn't show up in the extensions/marketplace on VS2022. Did I miss something?

We are rolling out the current build of VA slowly, to make sure we have caught as many nasty bugs as possible before to many people try it. So it will become available once we are sure we have a sufficiently reliable build.

We are getting there, but a few issues have come up that we are working on.
