The Find Symbol window would benefit from having access to the last 10 search patterns.
To follow a common UX rule: quote: Something that is typed once by a user, should not need to be typed again

Good. I can dare to say that this feature is pretty simple to implement, if you compare it with many of the other VA features. Yet, this would be useful to many... a simple and standard way to improve one's workflow |

It's not quite the same, but are you aware of the Most Recently Used list, in the top half of VA View? This lists your recently used Open File and Find Symbol searches in a single, combined list, for easy access:

I was not aware of this. I tried it for a while, but the VA View is not for me an efficient way of working. Hence I hope you can consider my original request. |

This is still a feature we are considering adding, it just hasn't made it to the top of the pile yet. Still, knowing what features sound useful and helpful is important, and helps us to prioritise what we do. |
