I use hastags like #unclear #legacy and it would be nice to see that the active document contains a hashtag of this type.
So it would be nice to see the hashtag name itself and the reference in different colors (like blue)...

Yes I work in most cases grouped by hashtag. But even when using grouped by file, showing the active file in a different color would be helpful.

I am just wondering where to pick up the highlight colour from, but that's a minor point. Underlining or outlining are both options that could be looked at.
For the marking, I am assuming that when grouped by file, just highlight the current file node. When grouped by tag, highlight all tag nodes that are active in the current file. This makes sense, and I have put in a feature request for this:
