Visual Studio does not allow the customize the font/color of this particular C++ keyword. Yet, it would be useful to have a style to make it stand apart, to easy see the exit points of a function.

We are considering the idea of showing the control flow keywords, return included, in a different colour:
case=29132
Another idea that we are considering, that might help here, is showing an outline of the current function, to help you see and follow the control flow:
case=57709 |

I don't like outlines generally, too "intrusive" to my eyes. |

When you say this about outlines, are you thinking of something added to the code editor window? Or do also tool windows get in the way for you as well, like the VA Outline window? |
