When I type this:

void (*meow)() = nullptr;

it automatically gets replaced to this:

void(*meow)() = nullptr;

It'd be nice to be able to suppress this behavior, but I think that it's part of Visual Studio itself, not Visual Assist.

Yes, that's Visual Studio formatting at work in this case.

My advice would be to browse the (Visual Studio Options | Text Editor | C/C++ | Formatting | Spacing) menu and make some tweaks there.
