VA Outline is quite a great enhancement, but in some classes with many methods, it's tedious to find the method of interest.

The method nodes seem to be sorted by occurence in the sourcecode.
Great property: They are already collected by class nodes.

It would be great to have them sorted alphabetically, eg for finding the proper getter or setter.

Maybe you can add an option to modify the ordering for example by
- occurence in the source code (as presently)
- alphabetically (ascending, descending, case-sensitiveness)

Even more it would be nice to have all preprocessor related entries optionally grouped beyond a node

Outline is ordered by occurrence because you can reorder the methods and other symbol types by drag-and-drop.

Are you aware of alt+m (method list), where you can see methods and other type of symbols as well?

It's ordered alphabetically and you can search by filtering the list.
