I have a symbol right under my nose, in comments or in code commented out), and wish to know all about it. Thanks to the post titled "Find References" (case=65917), I know I can:
- select the symbol
- open Find Symbol
- right-click on the only definition and Find References
But still quicker would be to select the identifier and press Find References, just like you'd do outside of comments. Now VAX seems to always complain "Find References is not available because the symbol is unrecognized". If the selection is a comment, can't Find References first ask its friend Find Symbol to recognize the symbol? |
